In 1876, the British company Sampson & Moore became the first manufacturer of motorised overhead cranes. Crane mechanisms are used to move heavy and bulk loads from one location to another, thereby reducing manpower and achieving high productivity and efficiency.

An EOT (Electric Overhead Travelling Crane) is a type of bridge crane, also known as an overhead travelling crane. EOT cranes are electrically powered. An operator or suspension station is required to control the functions of the Eot Crane 5 Ton.

It consists of parallel runways connected to a movable bridge. The Eot Crane 5 Ton is mounted on axles. Used for important industrial applications.

The EOT has three manoeuvres: up and down lifting of the crane hook, sideways movement of the trolley and vertical long travel movement of the Eot Crane 5 Ton.

Main girder:The main beam is the main load-bearing component of the Eot Crane 5 Ton. It consists of U-shaped channel steel, inclined cover plate, rib plate and I-beam steel plate. The upper arc is ((1/1000~1.4/1000)S). If the hoist's rated lifting capacity and dead weight are located at the center of the span, the outward slope will be above the horizontal line and no permanent deformation will occur during normal use.

End girder:The end beams are located at both ends of the main beam and are fixed to the main beam with bolts through flange plates. The structure is a box-shaped structure made of U-shaped steel rolls or welded steel plates, and is equipped with a lower cover plate, reinforcement plate, and fascia board.

Electric Hoist:The lifting mechanism is responsible for lifting and lowering the load. It consists of a motor, a drum or sprocket, a wire rope or chain, and a hook or lifting attachment. Usually an electric hoist or chain block is used.

Crane Motor:The crane motor adopts ZDY(D) series conical rotor brake motor or soft start motor. The standard insulation class of electric motors is Class B. The motor has the characteristics of good heat dissipation, long life, safety and reliability. Special working conditions can also be customized.

Control Mode:The control panel is used to control the operation of the Eot Crane 5 Ton. It can include buttons, switches, and other control mechanisms. The control panel can be installed on the crane or operated remotely via remote control or wireless remote control.

Electrical Cabinet:Our standard power supply is three-phase 380V (±10%, peak current lower limit -15%), 50Hz. Upon request, the power supply can be designed as a three-phase electrical control system with a maximum voltage of 690V and a frequency of 50-60Hz.
