The brake of the double-girder gantry crane is an important safety component. The function of the brake is to prevent the falling of hanging objects. Normal brakes can provide good protection for gantry cranes.
Brake wheels must have no defects or cracks. In the course of use, if there is more than 2mm depression or scratch on the brake wheel surface, the brake wheel should be reworked according to the standard.
Brake arm, top rod, frame rod, main and sub spring should not have cracks and permanent deformation. Anchor bolts, lock nuts, and their locks should not be damaged or fall off.
