Damage to winch parts includes cracks, wear, plastic deformation, etc., while adjustments involve operations on brakes, clutches, gears, etc.
Determination of damaged parts:
1. Cracks: Once any parts crack, they should be replaced immediately to ensure the safe and stable operation of the winch.
2. Wear: If the brake friction lining wear reaches 50% of the original lining thickness, it should be replaced; if the brake wheel working surface wear reaches 2 to 3 mm, it should also be replaced.
3. Plastic deformation: If the spring undergoes plastic deformation, it needs to be replaced.
4. Shaft hole wear: If the pin or shaft hole diameter wear reaches 5% of the original diameter, it must be replaced.
Adjustment of parts:
1. Brake adjustment: In the relaxed state, the gap between the brake belt (block) and the brake wheel should be even. The specific gap value is: 1-2.5mm between the brake belt and the brake wheel; 0.25~1mm between the brake block and the brake wheel. Brakes should be adjusted if this is exceeded.
2. Clutch adjustment: When the clutch is in a relaxed state, the two engagement surfaces should be completely separated to ensure normal operation.
3. Gear adjustment: The transmission gear must be scrapped when serious damage such as cracks or broken teeth occurs. When the tooth surface is pitted or the tooth thickness is severely worn, new gears should also be replaced.
