Gantry Crane Installation Procedure:
Step 1: Pre-installation

Fix the track to the base plate with a clamp.
Step 3: Crane Assembly
The assembly of the gantry crane involves the following key tasks:
1. Main beam assembly:
This procedure is applicable to the case of cutting the main beam for transportation. The precise alignment and firm fastening of the components are necessary to ensure the structural integrity. When assembling, it is more convenient to raise the main beam by about 1 meter at both ends with a steel frame.
2. Hoisting installation:
Install the electric hoist responsible for lifting and lowering the load on the main beam. The hoist must be properly aligned, firmly fixed and tested for smooth operation.
3. Cable and wire installation:
Install the cable slide and cable trolley. Fix the cable of the hoist on the trolley. Then pass the wires of the long-travel motor through the pipes on the main beam and the legs.
4. Leg and main beam installation:
Place the lower beam on the track. First connect the main beam and the legs with a wind rope. Then lift the entire system. And adjust the relative position of the legs so that the alignment and verticality of the legs and the lower beam meet the design requirements. Tighten the bolts to ensure that the crane legs are stable and tightly connect the legs and the lower beam. Continue to fasten the main beam and legs together.
5. Electrical connection:
Establish and test all necessary electrical connections, including power supply, control panel, limit switches and emergency stop system to ensure proper function. Then test the connection.
Step 4: Load test
After the gantry crane is fully assembled, a comprehensive load test procedure will be carried out to ensure its safe and reliable operation. The load test process includes:
Test plan: Determine the load weight, lifting height and duration of the load test. The plan should comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
Load application: Gradually apply the test load to the crane while monitoring its response and behavior. This includes observing the stability, movement and potential deformation of the crane.
Performance evaluation: Evaluate the performance of the crane during the load test, including its ability to withstand the specified load and any signs of structural stress or failure.
