Henan Province Mine Crane (hereinafter referred to as Mine Crane) has installed an intelligent equipment management platform and has already installed 310 sets of material handling and welding robots. After the whole plan is implemented, it will reach over 500 sets, with an equipment connectivity rate of 95%. There are currently 32 welding production lines in operation, with a planned installation of 50, achieving an 85% automation rate for the entire production line.
Fully Automated Double Beam Inner Seam Welding Robot Workstation
This workstation is mainly used for automatic welding of inner seams of double-beam’s main beams. After manual loading with basic alignment, the workpiece is flipped ±90° by an L-arm hydraulic turning machine, and the robot automatically positions and welds. This significantly improves the quality of weld seams, enhances the efficiency of welding structural components for overhead cranes, especially demonstrating great advantages in welding inner seams. It is also another measure taken by Mine Crane to care for employees and improve product quality and efficiency.
Single Beam Inner Seam Welding Robot Workstation
Mine Crane cooperated with the Beijing Crane Transportation Machinery Design and Research Institute and hired German crane experts to complete the "Single Beam Crane Flexible Production Line," enabling the production line for crane main beams to produce the finished products at an hourly rate scale, reducing production time by 40%, and shortening customer delivery cycles by 50%. Since 2016, the company has gradually introduced robot welding production lines to complete various weld seam welding for the company's single-beam standard products.
