China has achieved a breakthrough in the development of international standards for cranes led by China, which marks that China has gradually mastered the highest international discourse power in crane standards.
This standard is led by the Beijing Lifting and Transportation Machinery Design and Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Beiqi Yuan") of the National Machinery Group, and the international standard proposal is called "Crane terminology Part 4: Boom crane". A few days ago, after 19 P member states (full members) voted, the proposal was officially approved by the International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC96 "Crane Technical Committee", achieving a breakthrough in the development of international standards for cranes led by China.
Before 2005, China's membership in ISO/TC96 "Crane Technical Committee", ISO/TC101 "Industrial Vehicle Technical Committee", ISO/TC110 "Continuous Handling Machinery Technical Committee" and ISO/TC111 "Steel ring chain, chain, components and accessories Technical Committee" and other international standardization organizations are all O members (observed A member). As the commitment unit of the secretariat of the five national professional standardization Technical committees, and the domestic counterpart unit of ISO/TC96, ISO/TC 101, ISO/TC110 and ISO/TC111, Beiqi Institute has been constantly committed to promoting the development of China's lifting and transportation machinery standardization public welfare undertakings over the years. As well as China's lifting and transportation machinery industry international standardization work level. Through the continuous efforts and promotion of the North Qi Court, in the past 13 years, the turnout rate of international standards has been 100%, 23 delegations have participated in international conferences, hosted two international conferences, participated in the revision work of a number of international standards as a member of the working group, and put forward 4 proposals for international standards for cranes and 1 proposal for international standards for industrial vehicles. And strive to add Chinese as a language to the international standard for industrial vehicles ISO 5053-1:2015, constantly refreshing the historic breakthrough of China's participation in the international standardization of lifting and transportation machinery.
After more than ten years of hard work, China has not only turned all of its membership in the above-mentioned international standardization organizations into P members (full members), but also successfully made China assume the chairmanship and international secretariat of ISO/TC96, and the Chinese chairmanship and secretariat of ISO/TC110/SC5. Zhang Xijun, Vice president of Beiqi Institute, is the chairman of ISO/TC96, and ZhaoChunhui is the vice chairman of ISO/TC110/SC5.
The successful project of the international standard proposal "Crane terminology Part 4: Boom crane" has achieved a breakthrough in the development of international standards for lifting and transportation machinery led by China, which is also another major achievement of Beiqi Institute's participation in international standardization work, and has made a positive contribution to the promotion of China's status in international crane standardization work.
